There was this one that bloomed she noticed amongst the others. It stood firm on its stem, attractive to the sunlight, likewise, an appealing sight to see. Captivating even. Mother Nature blew softly over for a closer observation of this oh-so rare creation. Its perfect corolla resembled no other, bright, and even fragrant. Each blade seemed to stand to applaud God’s unique pigmentation. “Preparation for this beautiful donation, surely a manifestation.”

“Ovation,” God replied from sun-lit skies with affirmation. “Its representation of love, relation, foundation, and bits of frustration. It enhances plantations, deflates altercation, and even exceeds expectation.”

“Oh Lord, it is perfect! I’ll cherish it forever, your flawless, ideal innovation.” With that Mother Nature blew clouds from the sun’s view so each petal felt its embracing.

“Flawless, no. Perfection, yes,” The Lord gave explanation. “Its stem is prickly, roots restricted, convicted by civilization. Its beauty is often confused with conceit and deceitful ones use its fate for formation.”

Mother Nature gasped. She could not believe what the Lord had said. The clouds reformed above her head, a raindrop fell instead. Adoration and admiration had formed a thin line between condemnation. She could not understand how such beautiful thing could endure such a harsh complication.

Then the Lord explained further, “No need for tarnation, take this into consideration. Its turmoils will only relate and replenish the hearts of those in need of fixation.”

Mother Nature allowed the words to set in as the sun began to set. A marvelous day it was, arose a thing she’d never forget. It reminded her of self, so sweet but filled with warmth so cold. “You can name it if you’d like,” God said. “Let’s call her A Beautiful Rose.”
